Derioko I. Bocce Txapelketa

Pasaden larunbatean, urriaren 26an,  Beach Tennis eta Kirol Gutxituen Euskal Elkarteak, Bocce sailak, Derioko I. Bocce Txapelketa jokatu genuen. Binakako txapelketa bat izan zen eta 6 jokalarik parte hartu zuten. Aldekone (Derio) auzoan dagoen gunean elkartu ginen. Han lurrezko bide luze bat dago eta han bota genituen bocceko bolak. Guztira 3 partida jokatu genituen hiru bikote izan ginelako. Berriro txapelketa ofiziala ez zenez izan partida laburrak egin genituen, 6 puntuetaraino. Partida erabakigarrian Francisco Vargas eta Galder Etxebarri 6-5 irabazi zieten azkenean bigarren postuan bukatu zuten Egoitz eta Danieli. Beraz, Fracisco Vargas eta Galder Etxeberria izan ziren I. Derioko Bocce Txapelketako (Binakakoa) garaileak.

Abenduan beste txapelketa txiki bat egingo dugu, banakakoa ziur aski; eta dena ondo badoa martxoan Euskal Herriko II. Bocce Txapelketa egingo dugu (Banakakoa).

Derioko I. Bocce Tournament

Last saturday, october 26, Beach Tennis and the Basque Association of Underprivileged Sports, the Bocce section, played the 1st Bocce Tournament in Derio. It was a doubles tournament and 6 players participated. We met at the site in the Aldekone (Derio) district. There is a long dirt track where we threw the bocce balls. We played a total of 3 games because we were three couples. Since it was not an official tournament again, we played short games, up to 6 points. In the decisive match, Francisco Vargas and Galder Etxebarri won 6-5 over Egoitz and Daniel, who ended up in second place. Therefore, Fracisco Vargas and Galder Etxeberria were the winners of the 1st Derio Bocce Championship (Doubles).

In December we will hold another small tournament, certainly an individual one; and if everything goes well in March II of the Basque Country. We will hold a Bocce Championship (Individual).

Bizkaiko I. Bocce Txapelketa

Aurreko ostegunean, abuztuaren 7an,  Beach Tennis eta Kirol Gutxituen Euskal Elkarteak, Bocce sailak, Bizkaiko I. Bocce Txapelketa jokatu genuen. Banan-banako txapelketa bat izan zen eta 5 jokalarik parte hartu zuten. San Inazio (Bilbo) auzoan dagoen bolatokian jokatu genuen eta 5 partida jokatu genituen: lehenengo kanporaketa, bi semifinalak, 3º eta 4º posturako partida eta finala.  Ez zenez txapelketa ofizial bat izan, lagunartekoa baizik, partidak 5 edo 6 puntuetara jokatu genituen, beraz, txapelketa laburra izan zen. Abenduan jokatuko dugu Bilboko Txapelketa, baina orduan binakako txapelketa izango da.

Bizkaiko Txapelketa Joseba jokalari berriak irabazi zuen finalean Egoitzi irabazi eta gero. Mikel hirugarren postuan geratu zen.

Bukatzeko esan, urrian Turkian Munduko Bocce Txapelketa egingo dela eta oraindik asko praktikatu ez dugun arren saiatuko gara joaten Euskal Herria ordezkatzera.

Bizkaia I. Bocce Championship

The previous Thursday, 7th of august,  the Basque Association of Beach Tennis and Minority Sports, the Bocce section, played the 1st Bocce Championship of Bizkaia. It was a one-on-one tournament and 5 players participated. We played at the bowling alley in the neighborhood of San Inazio (Bilbo) and played 5 games: the first round, the two semifinals, the 3rd and 4th place match and the final. Since it was not an official tournament, but a friendly one, we played the games to 5 or 6 points, so the tournament was short. We will play the Bilbao Championship in December, but then it will be a doubles tournament.

The Bizkaia Championship was won by the new player Joseba after beating Egoitzi in the final. Mikel was in third place.

To conclude, the World Bocce Championship will be held in Turkey in October and although we haven't practiced much yet, we will try to go and represent the Basque Country.
